Sharon S. Wilburn, 74, of Logansport, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 at 3:30 PM at Chase Center in Logansport.

Born on September 5, 1939 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Harry Bartley and Georgia (Koble) Swafford. On July 4, 1966 in Logansport she married Ishmeal J. Wilburn who preceded in death on July 24, 2009.

Sharon was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and playing BINGO in her spare time.
Surviving is on daughter, Debra Ashcraft, Logansport; sister, Judy (Herb) Linton, Murango, IN; sister in law, Diana Swafford, Logansport; Brother, Mike(Linda) Swafford, Erie, MI; two brother in laws, Donald (Eileen) Wilburn, Ft. Myers, FL; Rudell (Ruth) Wilburn, Lafayette; two sister in laws, Dorothy Hubbard, Kokomo; Fanny Tedeschi, Michigan City, IN; grandchildren, Serena (Fonzi) Kendall, Dennis Ashcraft and companion Melissa, all of Logansport; great grandchildren, Dietrick Davis II, Keyton Ashcraft, both of Logansport; Akeelah Hillman, Peru; two step grandchildren, Herrell Dawson, Logansport; Phanozell Kendall, Logansport; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Gayle Swafford, one sister, Beverly Drummond, and one son in law, Dennis J. Ashcraft.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2014 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Dr. Horace Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Galveston Cemetery, Galveston, IN.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 2, 2014 also in the Funeral Home.
