Shawn Berkshire

Shawn Lynn Berkshire, age 43, of Walton, passed away surrounded by the love of his life and his family at 5:28 PM Thursday, November 8, 2012 in his residence.

He was born December 11, 1968 in Logansport, IN. He was the son of Charlie and Betty (Watts) Berkshire, who both survive.

Shawn was a Mental Health Technician at Howard Regional Health Center.

Shawn enjoyed antiques, remodeling, landscaping, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. Much of his younger years were spent growing up in the Royal Center community.

Other survivors include his Life Partner, Greg Tackwell of Walton; Son, Andrew J. Berkshire & Wife Christina of Kokomo; Mother, Betty (Ancel) Laws of Kokomo ;Father, Charlie (Judy) Berkshire of Logansport; Maternal Grandmother, Erie Watts of Royal Center ; three grandchildren,
Chloe, Chevelle & Caelan Berkshire. Also several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

(Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Mary Berkshire, his maternal grandfather, James Watts and two maternal Aunts, Nettie Edwards and Fay Duddleston.)

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, November 12, 2012 @ Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Sharon Walker officiating.

Shawn will be laid to rest in the Kistler Cemetery near Royal Center, IN

Visitation will be from 1 – 5 PM Sunday, November 11, 2012 @ Gundrum Funeral Home
