Sherry Gunter

Graveside services for Sherry L. Gunter, 53, Logansport, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Spring Creek Cemetery, Logansport.

She died at 3:49 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Born on June 14, 1957, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Francis E. and Ida M. (Wolf) Gunter.

A 1975 graduate of Caston Jr-Sr. High School, Sherry worked for Extra Space Storage. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Michael Gunter and wife, Amy, Mexico; daughter, Michelle Layman and husband Alan, Peru; mother, Ida M. Gunter, Logansport; sister, Carol Kuntz, Lafayette; brothers, Rick Gunter, Bunker Hill, Jeff Gunter and wife Julie, Burrows, Brad Gunter, Bunker Hill, Terry Gunter, Beech Grove, and Steve Gunter, Logansport; grandchildren, Braxton and Carly Gunter, and Timothy Layman.

Friends may call on hour prior to services at Gundrum Funeral Home.
