Shirley Williams

Shirley J. Williams, 79, of Logansport ,passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on February 3, 1936 in Elkhart, Indiana she was the daughter to the late Raymond and Hazel (Reeser) Harris.  On August 26, 1956 in Logansport, she married Gene L. Williams who survives.

Shirley retired from SEARS in 1997. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church where she was involved in many activities including, Church treasurer, and many other church activities. Shirley enjoyed playing BUNCO with her friends, but her real joy came while spending time with her husband and family.

Surviving along with her husband, is a son, Steve (Michelle) Williams, Walton; two daughters Gayle Morris, Logansport; Joni (Jeff) Linback, Winamac; Brother, Richard L. (Shirley) Harris, Fort Wayne, IN; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and her beloved dog Charlie.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Damon Soper officiating.  Burial will be private in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church in Logansport.
