Sondra Hess

Services for Sondra A. Hess, 69, Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m.
Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 1:39 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 12, 1939, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Russell and Marjorie Walker Wilson, and she was the stepdaughter of Dutch Larimore. She was married July 6, 1957, in Logansport, to Arthur L.
Hess, who survives.
Sondra retired as a deputy clerk for the city clerk-treasurer’s office.
She enjoyed cross-stitching, reading, cooking, cleaning, baking, listening to music and spending time on the Internet. She was a former PTA president and volunteer for Washington Elementary School. Sondra enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a 1956 graduate of Logansport High School.
Also surviving are daughters, Cathy Miller, Royal Center, Sonia Roach and husband, Jeff, and Susie Shea, all of Brownsburg; sons, Mark Hess, Indianapolis, and Bart Hess, New York, N.Y.; brother, Richard Wilson and wife, Gwen, Beaverton, Ore.; sisters, Mary Zinn, Flora, Karen Fellers and husband, Greg, Terre Haute, and Helen Shanks and husband, John, Logansport; and eight grandchildren, Zachary Hess, Courtney Hess, Kayla Miller, Carson Miller, Ty Roach, Levi Roach, Paige Shea and Parker Shea.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Russell J. “Jack” Wilson.
The Rev. Scott Ellison will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
