Sonja Heishman

Sonja J. Heishman, 65, of Logansport, passed away Friday July 20, 2018 in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.

Born September 11, 1952 in Logansport she was the daughter to the late Harold William and Ruth Marie (Johnson) Fulmer.

Sonja was a former Sub District Manager for INDOT in Monticello, IN, former Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Logansport and a former Case Worker at Job Works. She was also former Member of the V.F.W. Post #3790 Aux.

Survivors include her Life Partner, Cheryl Reed, Logansport, son, Shawn (Stephanie) Heishman, Logansport; three brothers, Jack (Barb) Helvie, Logansport; John (Marsha) Helvie, Kokomo; Billy Fulmer, Hicksville, OH; sister, Suzie Fulmer, Logansport; five grandchildren, Sage, Zoe, Senta, Colten and Nash; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday July 26, 2018 in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Smith Officiating.

Visitation hours will be from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Thursday July 26, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society or the American Red Cross.
