A celebration of life will be held for Staff Sgt. Seth A. Miller, 27, of Sumter, S.C., formerly of Logansport, at 4 p.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home. Full military rites and a balloon release will follow services.
He died at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2006, in an vehicle accident in Sumter, S.C.
Born Nov. 16, 1978, in Logansport, he was the son of Thomas A. and Lu Ann Hubenthal Miller.
A 1997 graduate of Logansport High School, Seth had been in the U.S. Air Force since January 1999, stationed in Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, S.C. He was a dedicated crew chief for F-16s, and weapons systems coordinator.
He enjoyed boating, water skiing and scuba diving.
Surviving are his mother, Lu Ann Miller, Huber Heights, Ohio; one brother, Thomas H. Miller and his wife, Diane S., Monticello; a half sister, Angie Reiff, Burnettsville; one niece, Riley A. Miller, Monticello; a canine companion, Doc Holiday; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Air Force Chaplin Arnold will officiate at the services.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Air Force Aid Program and a favorite childrenâs charity.
