Stella Mcminn

Stella Louise (McPherson) McMinn, 89 of, Logansport,  passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 in Lafayette.

Born March 17, 1926 in Logansport, she was the daughter of Raymond and Flossie (Campbell) McPherson.  On September 12, 1944 in Peru, Indiana she married Bob McMinn who preceded her in death.

She worked several years at the R.B.M. and then spent several more years working in the Cass  County Assessor's Office.  Stella was a member of Cross-Wind United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her family and spending time with her grandchildren.  She has missed the love of her life for 13 long years and now they are together again.

Surviving are two sons, James Robert Jr. McMinn and wife Vivian; Mike McMinn and wife Nancy, both of Logansport;  one daughter, Nancy Eylens, Lafayette; sister, Bettie Savini ; two sister in laws , Billie McPherson, of Logansport; Betty and husband Tom Kirk, Peru; seven grandchildren, James Robert "Rob" McMinn and wife Angie; Scott McMinn and wife Mandi; Jill McMinn, all of Logansport; Graham McMinn and wife Nikki, Lafayette, IN; Tony Eylens, Lafayette; Mike McMinn and wife Sony, Lebanon; Michelle Johnson and husband Cory, Chicago; 19 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Holly Eylens, one brother, Carl McPherson and two sisters, Martha Boulden and Elizabeth Zellers.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society or to the Cross Wind United Methodist Church.
