Steven O. Williams, 74, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, in his residence.
Born on March 3, 1947, in Logansport, Steve is the son to the late Owen B. and Fern (Parish) Williams. Steve worked as a teacher and school administrator for the South Montgomery School System.
Steve was a 1965 graduate of Lewis Cass High School. He was a member of the Anoka United Methodist Church and a huge sports follower, he particularly enjoyed the Indiana Hoosiers, Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts and the Indianapolis 500. Steve had a big heart and never met a stranger; he always enjoyed the conversations he had with his friends. Steve loved attending shows at the Honeywell Center in Wabash and being in the company of his beloved dog Winnie.
Steve is survived by several cousins, Jeff (Karen) Parish, Logansport; Gary “Butch” Munson, Twelve Mile; Ed Munson, Logansport; Barbara Williams, Lafayette; Janet (Dick) Billmyre, Noblesville; Marla (Greg) DuVall, Logansport; Delonna (Brian) Logan, Logansport. He also had many other people who he considered his family.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Gundrum Funeral Home.
A funeral celebrating Steve’s life will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Thomas officiating. Private burial will take place in the Walton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Anoka United Methodist Church.
