Susan K. Baker, 60, Logansport, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in her home.
She was born Oct. 18, 1949, in Monticello, the daughter of James W. and Helen G. Stotler Harris. She was married March 4, 1983, in Logansport to Robert A. Baker Jr.
She had worked at Small Parts Inc., Controls, IBP and Tyson.
She enjoyed gardening, car shows and her dogs, Boots and Fee Fee. She was an avid NASCAR fan and had traveled the circuit for two years.
Survivors include her husband, Robert A. Baker Jr., Logansport; her mother, Helen Inman and husband, Hiram, Monticello; a brother, Jim Harris and wife, Regina, Logansport; stepsons, Robert (Dale) Baker and wife, Vicky, Logansport, and Edward Allen Baker, Noblesville; a stepdaughter, Robin R. Baker, Hobart; a sister-in-law, Kathy Elman and husband, Mark, Munster; a brother-in-law, Phillip W. Baker and wife, Lorie, Hobart; her mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Baker, Munster; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today in the First Church of the Nazarene in Logansport, with Dr. Horace Smith officiating. Burial will be in Chalmers Community Cemetery, Chalmers.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services at the church.
