Suzie Penzenstadler, 64, Walton died at 10:55 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Logansport on July 28, 1947 to James and Helen (Strahlem) Fettig. She married Jerry Penzenstadler on May 28, 2005 in New Waverly. She retired from Federal Mogul after 15 years of service.
Suzie was a 1965 graduate of Logansport High School. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post 3790 Womenâs Auxiliary, and Walton Post 418 Womenâs Auxiliary. Suzie loved bingo and spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include her husband, a son, Tom (Tammy) Willis of Lewisburg; a daughter, Robin Willis and her companion John, of Logansport; a son, Ryan Willis of Logansport; a step daughter, Jean (Jeff) Ebert of Kokomo; a step daughter, Nancy (Rick) Murphy of Plainfield; a step son, Thomas Penzenstadler of Leesburg, Fla.; a step daughter, Susan Whiteman of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; a step daughter, Mary (Greg) Hartley, of Logansport; a sister, Cromer and her husband Kenny of Leesburg, Fla.; a sister, Marilyn (James) Walden, of Brooksville, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Jan Fettig, of Logansport; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Willis, one brother, Bob Fettig and one nephew, Brad Szewczyk.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Collins will officiate. She will be buried in the Walton I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
