Thelma Hoover

Thelma Mae Hoover, 80, went home to be with the Lord at 11:20 PM, Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Chase Center in Logansport.

Born July 10, 1932 in Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Preston and Naomi Hamilton. On November 22, 1956 in Thornhope, Indiana she married John H. Hoover who preceded her in death.

Thelma was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and collecting recipes. She also enjoyed playing the organ, her accordion, and spending time with family and friends.

She was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Surviving is a son, Leslie Hoover, a sister, Louise (Richard) Eskildsen, both of Logansport; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Virginia Ruth Eldridge.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 18 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Logansport. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tim Berlin officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church.
