Thomas Lee Binney, 77, Logansport, died at 10:40 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 6, 1932, in Logansport, he was the son of Arthur and Harriet Wells Binney. He was married June 17, 1960, in Logansport, to Kathleen M. Silver.
Mr. Binney retired in 1991 from The Operating Engineers Union Local 103, after 34 years of service.
He was a member of Tipton Masonic Lodge 33, Logansport Shrine Club, Murat Temple of Indianapolis and American Legion Post 60. Tom enjoyed spending time with family and loved outdoor activities.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen M. Binney, Logansport; daughter, Rhonda Smith and husband David, Galveston; sons, Mark Binney and wife Deborah, Peru, and Kevin Binney and wife Kimberly K., Logansport; sister, Myra Jackson and husband Jim, Logansport; brother, Ron Binney and wife Libby, Logansport; grandchildren, Ryan Russell, Adam Binney, Kasey Binney and Aubree Binney; two stepgrandchildren, Angie Musall and Clint Almon; four great-grandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, and three brothers.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Gundrum Funeral Home with Kelly R. Spencer officiating. There will be a Shriners processional prior to services on Monday.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Logansport.
Friends may call from noon until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
