Thomas Martin Drummond
Memorial services for Thomas Martin Drummond, 73, Logansport, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Assembly of God Church, 831 Burlington Ave.
He died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009, in his residence.
Born Sept. 19, 1935, in Cass County, he was the son of John Julius and Mildred Elizabeth Martin Drummond. His first marriage was on April 1, 1955, in Logansport, to Barbara Neff, who preceded in death April 29, 2001. His second marriage was Oct. 20, 2001, in Logansport, to Thyra Ann Pingel Trapp, who survives.
He retired as a carpenter and church custodian for the First Assembly of God Church, where he was a member.
Also surviving are sons, Derek Drummond and wife, Liz, Denver, Colo., and Matthew Drummond, St. Louis, Mo.; stepdaughter, Doris Trapp, Fort Wayne; stepsons, Chuck Trapp and wife, Veronica, and Dave Trapp, all of Logansport; brothers, John E. Drummond, and Jerry A. Drummond, both of Logansport, Larry Max Drummond, Florida, and Jay J. Drummond, Germany; sisters, Mary Emma Jolly, Logansport, and Cheryl D. Kinard, Yuma, Ariz.; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Pastors Andy Weil and Dan Pongratz will officiate.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to First Assembly of God Church.
