Thomas Floyd Vernon

Thomas Floyd Vernon, age 73, of Logansport, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, in his residence.

Born August 6, 1951, in Logansport, IN to the later Donald H. & Ida Mae (Smith) Vernon.

Tom was a retired carpenter who worked in construction most of his life. He was a member of the Carpenter Union of Lafayette.

Survivors include one daughter, Sara E. (Jaime) Zaragoza, Logansport; two sons, Jamey (Libbie) Vernon, Indianapolis; Seth Vernon, Logansport; one brother, Donald (Joann) Vernon, Camden; sister-in-law, Linda Pattengale, Logansport; long time companion, Patricia McKinney; 7-grandchildren; 4-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Pepper.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Marty Eugene Pattengale.

Per Tom’s wishes he will be cremated, and his family will have a gathering at a later date.
