Tim Black

Tim J. Black, 58 of Royal Center, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 12:40 PM, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born September 26, 1954 in Peru, Indiana he was the son of the late Robert D. and Norma J. Dangerfield Black. On October 3, 1987 at France Park in Logansport, Tim married Katherine "Kathy" S. Allen who survives.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his friends and family.

Surviving along with his wife are two daughters, Becky A. (Budd) Denny, Squaw Lake, MN; Summer D. Yost, Logansport; two sons, Shawn M. Black, Logansport; Jamie L. Black, Hot Springs, AK; two grandsons, Brian Denny, Squaw Lake; Awstin Yost, Valparaiso, IN; two granddaughters, Peyton Black, Logansport; Kohlee Black, Hot Springs, AK; Sister, Dixie Lee, Logansport; Brother, Terry L. (sylvia) Black, Houston, TX; two nieces, Christina Lee, Logansport; Cristina Black, Houston, TX; and one nephew, Michael Lee, Lafayette.

He was preceded in death by one niece Tracy Tate.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Kelly Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM Monday, April 22, 2013 in the Gundrum Funeral Home.
