Tommy Corcoran Jr.

Tommy Lee Corcoran Jr, age 55, passed away Saturday October 31, 2020 in his residence.

Born January 31, 1965 in Logansport he is the son to Tommy Lee Corcoran Sr. and Marilyn (Crumet) Snyder.  Tommy married Deborah Dawson in 1994 and they had three children.

Tommy graduated from Logansport High School in 1983 and then earned his A&P Mechanic Degree from Vincennes University. Tommy began his working career with Bordens and Maplecrest. He later retired from Keebler as a semi driver where he was also a member of the Teamster Local 135 in Indianapolis.

Later in life Tommy met Becky See who became his partner and helped raise his children. She became “Becky Mom” to them and was an instrumental person in raising them.  Tommy had a love for micro midget racing and motocross.  While still in school Tommy had the privilege of being featured on the CBS program “Kid’s World” where they featured himself and his group of motocross friends as they raced at Shady Hill.

Tommy was a tinkerer, he enjoyed working on cars or anything with a motor, and rarely came across a problem he couldn’t fix.

Surviving are three children, Tommy L. Corcoran III of Logansport; Sheldon D. Corcoran of Indianapolis; Caitlyn Corcoran of Greenwood; two brothers, Dennis (Nancy) Corcoran, Logansport; Robert “Eddie” Corcoran of Logansport; mother, Marilyn Snyder of Logansport; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Gundrum Funeral Home & Crematory with Kelly Spencer officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
