Services for Tommy Lee Corcoran Sr., 70, Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born June 6, 1938, in Logansport, he was the son of Carl and Virginia Parsons Corcoran. He was married Dec. 30, 1994, in Logansport, to Carol A. Bennett Crisman, who survives.
Tommy retired in 2000 from the Carpenters Union.
He attended Cross-Wind United Methodist Church and was a former modified midget racer for 40 years. He enjoyed building street rods as a hobby.
Also surviving are sons, Dennis Corcoran, Logansport, Ed Corcoran and wife, Ilona, Monticello, and Tommy Corcoran Jr., Logansport; mother, Virginia Corcoran, Logansport; sisters, Jerry Culp, Logansport, Rita Kochel and husband, John, Royal Center, and Betty Angle and husband, Don, Florida; stepson, Bryan Pownell, Bedford; stepdaughters, Debbie Campbell and husband, Brad, and Cheryl Howell and husband, Tim, all of Logansport; eight grandchildren, Brock Corcoran, Steven Corcoran, Karen Corcoran, Kyle Corcoran, Tommy Corcoran, Sheldon Corcoran, Katie Corcoran and Connor Corcoran; four stepgrandchildren, Zach Weatherwax, Brooke Campbell, Britteny Howell and Ciara Howell; one great-grandchild, Boston Corcoran; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Kali Ditto and Laci Leffert; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pastor Gary Lewis, Rev. William Art Maloney and Dave Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
