Services for V. Lorraine Lowe, 75, Peru, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007, in her residence.
Born Nov. 27, 1931, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Glenn and Crystal Helvie Long. She was married Nov. 26, 1950, in New Waverly, to C. Mendel Lowe, who survives.
She retired in 1984 from J.C. Penney in Peru after 26 years of service. She was a member of the Miami Township Extension Homemakers Club for over 50 years and was also a member of the New Waverly United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are one son, Steven M. Lowe, and his wife, Carol; a daughter, Kay Wolfe, and her husband, Jerry, all of Peru; a sister-in-law, Betty Long, Logansport; grandchildren, David Lowe, and his wife, Charlotte, New Waverly, Kevin Lowe, and his wife, Laura, Angie Mayhill, and her husband, Dan, and Emily Conklin, all of Peru; a step granddaughter, Malinda Taylor, and her husband, Jamie, Peru; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by one son, David J. Lowe; three brothers, Oval Long, Carl Long and infant, Curtis Ray Long; and granddaughter, Kayla Conklin.
Pastor Carl Davis will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Women of the New Waverly United Methodist Church.
