Violet Dixon

Violet R. Dixon, 91, formerly of Walton, Indiana, passed away Jan. 3, 2021, in Logansport.
Born May 17, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter to the late John and Violet (Dzedzie) Roberti.
On Oct. 12, 1947, in Petoskey, Michigan, she married Richard L. Dixon, who preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1980.
Violet was employed by Kaufman manufacturing and also worked for Kingston Products in Kokomo and R.B.M. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post #3790 Ladies Aux., All Saints Catholic Church and Bridge City Squares.
Surviving is one son, Larry (Cindy) A. Dixon, Lafayette, Indiana; two daughters, Diana (Kenny) Robbins, Logansport, and Patty A. Leffert, Logansport; brother, Dan Smith, Petoskey, Michigan; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
One granddaughter, Michelle Leffert; one brother, Frank Smith; and two sisters, Barbara Shaw and Mary Jane Warner, preceded her in death.
Per Violet's wishes, there will be no services.
