Walter T. Michael, born December 22, 1941 in Winamac IN, to Robert and Helen (Follett) Michael, passed away on April 26, 2018. Walter is survived by his wife Rita Michael of the family home in, Cimarron, NM. Children; Anna Hendrickson and Chuck of Cameron, NC., Carla Lee and Ron of Deer Creek, IN., Jeffrey and Andrea Sharp of St. Petersburgh, FL., Pamela Sharp of Peru, IN. Siblings James Michael and Lynn of Chapel Hill, NC., Ruth Ann Yantis and Benjamin of Logansport, IN., William Michael and Linda of Logansport, IN., Mary L. Barret and Rex of Wolcott, IN., Betty J. Frisky and William of Logansport, IN., Sandra Barrett and Danny of Logansport, IN., David Michael of Logansport, IN., Sister-In-Law Christine Michael of Rochester, IN.

Walter is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Helen Michael and brother Richard Michael and first wife Mary Ann Lewellen Michael.

Walter is also survived by grandchildren, Jennifer L. and Zack Miller of Williamsburg, KY., Bradley Dickison of Rochester IN., Joshua and Tina Dickison of Patuxent River, MD., Danielle and Breanna Cogswell of Walton, IN., Tiffany Colsten of Indianapolis, IN., Marisa and Parker Eikenberry of Zionsville, IN., Alexandra and Brian Day of Gas City, IN., Andrew Cogswell of Deer Creek, IN., Sierra Sharp of Loveland, CO., Abby Cogswell of Deer Creek, IN., Emily Cogswell of Deer Creek, IN., Devlin Sharp of St, Petersburg, FL., Great-Grandchildren; Kaden, Elijah and Laken Miller of Williamsburg, KY. Walter is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service for Walter Thomas Michael will be on Saturday, May 12th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Damon Soper officiating. Burial with full Military Rites will follow in Mt Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Gundrum Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
