Warren Scott Shively, 56, Logansport, passed away Saturday November 3, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at 12:40 am in Woodbridge Health Campus.
Born May 1, 1962 in Logansport to Warren and Carol (Snyder) Shively. On March 16, 2018 in Logansport Scott married Jennifer Fiscel who survives.
Scott was a retired Firefighter for the city of Logansport with 20 years of service. He was a 1980 graduate of Logansport High School, member of the Moose Lodge #232, Elks Lodge #66 and the Sons of American Legion. Scott was also the owner of Logansport Storage Center and Panther Country Storage of Royal Center.
Surviving along with his wife, Jennifer, is a daughter, Stephanie Lynn Strahlem, Lebanon; a son, Brandon Scott Shively, Logansport; mother, Carol Shively, Logansport; sister, Annette (Steve) Russell, Logansport; two brothers, Darr (Jodi) Shively, Logansport; Michael (Tracy) Shively, Logansport; two grandchildren, Sydney Caroline Strahlem and Maggie Lucile Strahlem, Lebanon; sister in laws, Kim Crist and Tami Fox; brother in laws, Mark Willis and Stephen Fiscel; father and mother in law, Joe and Nancy Fiscel several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
His father, Warren Shively, preceded him in death.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Butcher officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Hope Cemetery in Logansport.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 6, also at the Gundrum Funeral Home with an Elks service at 7:00 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Logansport Firefighters Burn Out fund care of Logansport Fire Department.
