Wilbur D. ‘Web’ McMahan

Services for Wilbur D. “Web” McMahan, 87, Logansport, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

He died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2008, in Heart Center of Indiana, Indianapolis.

Born Aug. 12, 1920, in Jefferson County, he was the son of Ora A. and Margaret Lowe McMahan. He was married June 26, 1948, in Logansport, to Ada L. Smith, who preceded in death Nov. 7, 2006.

He retired in 1985 from RBM after 44 years of service. Web also was delivering auto parts for NAPA Auto Parts.

He was a member of Heartland Cruisers Car Club and had also been an avid pilot. Web enjoyed working on and restoring cars.

Surviving are his fiancé, Frances Holle, Logansport; sons, Rick McMahan, Noblesville, and Gary McMahan and wife, Elaine, Janesville, Wis.; brother, John McMahan, Logansport; and two grandsons, Joseph McMahan, Kokomo, and Joshua McMahan, Indianapolis.

Pastor Gary Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
