William J. 'Bill' Hatch

Services for William J. “Bill” Hatch, 76, Logansport, formerly of Royal Center, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rehoboth Christian Center, Logansport.

He died at 11:35 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, in Chase Center.

Born Sept. 11, 1931, in Logansport, he was the son of Francis and Helen Hatch. He was married Feb. 14, 1996, in Logansport, to Peggy J. Green, who survives.

Bill retired in 2003 after 33 years as owner and operator of Bill’s Engine Shop in Royal Center. He also was a former bus driver for the Pioneer School Corporation.

Bill was a member of Rehoboth Christian Center and was well known for gardening and having a green thumb.

Also surviving are one son, John Hatch, Alabama; stepdaughters, Jodi Leffert and husband, Mick, and Michelle Feltis and husband, Chris, all of Logansport, and Faith Staut and husband, Paul, Georgia; stepson, Danny Watson, Burnettsville; grandson, John Hatch, Logansport; and eight stepgrandchildren.

Pastor Richard Conrad will officiate at the services. There will be no visitation.

Gundrum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
