William "Bill" Kitchel Jr.

William “Bill” J. Kitchel Jr., 62, of Kokomo, was called home on Wednesday September 25, 2018 at 1:59 pm. at Howard Regional Hospital. Bill lost his battle with lung cancer, but hospital staff took great care in keeping him comfortable.

Bill loved to travel and was a thirteen-year U.S. Navy Veteran. He loved his dogs Sheming and Gracie and took them with him anytime he could.

Survivors include his mother, Arlene Kitchel, Rochester; one daughter, Carol Howard, Jacksonville, FL; one son, Austin Kitchel, Rochester; one granddaughter, Ashia Kitchell, Rochester, one sister, Roslyn Harp, Rochester; one brother, John S. Kitchel, Georgia; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William J. Kitchel Sr.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
