Woodrow Moore Jr.

Woodrow J. Moore Jr., 70, Logansport, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 3:06 pm in the Indiana University Arnett Hospital at Lafayette, IN.

Born July 17, 1944 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to the late Woodrow J.  Sr. and Helen Clara "Bowers" Moore. On December 23, 1970 in West Burlington, Iowa he married Mary Lou Dickeson who survives.

Woodrow was a retired self employed construction worker. He enjoyed fishing, watching the stock markets and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of forty six years Mary Lou and also two sons, Joseph W. (Lori) Moore, Burlington, IA; Nick (Gabriela) Moore, Logansport, IN; four grandchildren, Shanna (Doug) Krogmeier, Fort Madison, IA; Tyler (Jen) Moore; Warrensburg, MO; Christopher and Abby Moore, Logansport, IN; and two great grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Wilkerson and Frances (Jerry) McGill both of Wapello, IA; Sheryl (Stan) Vandewalle, Popular Grove, IL; two brothers, Jim (Melinda) Moore and Kenny (Debbie) Moore both of Wapello, IA;

One infant daughter, Teresa Moore and one sister, Delores Brown, preceded in death.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 2:00 pm -  6:00 pm Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge located at 2727 Mount Pleasant Street  Burlington, IA 52601

A memorial has been established in Woodrow’s name and contributions may be made to his wife Mary Lou Moore.
